Sensory Sketch Series

Now is your chance to capture a picture of nature using your five senses! This series of activities will activate the students 5 senses and incorporate a reflective piece. The first activity asks students to find something outside that they would like to draw without lifting the pencil off the paper. The second activity asks students to go outside and search for a rock that would fit in their palms. Using their sense of touch, students have to envision the detail and draw the rock without looking at it. The last activity activates their sense of hearing by getting students to draw a picture of all the sounds they heard.
