This game is to be completed in a group. It closely resembles kick the can* but instead requires you to have access to some natural marker (in this case, a tree)
Instructions: One person is “It”, and they begin the game by closing their eyes and counting to 20. Everyone else runs to find a hiding spot. After they are done counting, the person who is "It" opens their eyes and tries to spot the people in hiding. If they spot someone in hiding, “It” calls the person’s name, and a race begins! Both "It" and the person whose name was called must race to the tree and attempt to be the first to hug or tag the tree. If the person in hiding beats “It” to the tree, they are safe. If they do not beat “It” to the tree, they are out. Other individuals who are in hiding can run to the tree at any point as well, and if they are not called by “It”, they are safe. This continues until everyone is either “out” or “safe”. At this point the game can begin again with someone new as “It”.
