Did you know that nature has a scent too? This lesson will allow students to create their own fragrance. Students will need a cup for this activity. Their task is to go outside into nature and fill their cup with different natural items. These could include dirt, twigs, leaves, bark, or wood. When the cup is filled, take a whiff! What do you smell? The final task is to be creative and come up with a name for your fragrance... try to sell it!
When I facilitated this lesson with students, they came up with a name for their fragrance that I still share with people to this day, 'Calvin Pine' (Calvin Klein)!!
