Growing Seeds

This is a great activity to get students interested in gardening and plant life cycles. It is an observation activity that will allow for students to watch how roots and sprouts grow in a plants life cycle.

Please Note: This is an indoor activity and these beans will not do well outdoors. This is a way for students to see how roots start and sprout. To extend this activity you may plant 4 dried beans outside in the garden 1/2 inch into the ground and see the full life cycle seed to seed.
